For my efforts I still can not believe that came out of the crisis, I still can not believe that our economy is broken, I still can not think great lift to our GDP. I can not because I try just to look around, talk to people, listen to concerns and worries of everyday life, of reality and is not connected to the real wind of optimism blowing from the national news media.
The crisis is not over, unfortunately.
In these days many companies, large, medium and small, are presenting the bill to the institutions, the trade union and workers: dismissals, layoffs and mobility.
The CGIL has called for a general strike on March 12 dictated by a situation more and more serious and sometimes dramatic throughout the country
Disputes Act are in fact several:
- The spontaneous protest of workers Termini Imerese continues despite has provided a technical committee with the Government on March 5
- Regarding the ' Alcoa remains to be defined the fate of the plants Portovesme and Fusina.
- The dispute ex Eutelia should be discussed towards the end of February
- the still uncertain situation for the Vinyls Porto Torres as well as for Merloni
- Finmeccanica announces potential redundancy in many subsidiaries
- Great concern even among port of Gioia Tauro
Regarding the Veneto the situation more alarming is symbolically that of Glaxo of Verona, the local anchor of this general crisis that shows how the expansion of the phenomenon should be hit in the more specialist and not just limited to the working world of small and medium industry.
Try as I just can not seem to feel that air of confidence and optimism that was said, maybe I have to change position, zone or location, but they tell me that their roofs are unable to feel anything, unfortunately just do not get that air.
